Project 8p Family and Science Conference 2024
Families may apply for Travel Stipend (Scroll below)
Registration
Registration includes most meals and an evening out at Top Golf.
Why attend the conference?
Sessions will be held on the latest research, treatment and therapies, with views from clinicians, providers and parents. We also hope to foster a sense of camaraderie and understanding. Many families feel that this is the one time when they don't have to explain their child and have a chance to meet other parents in similar situations. There will be on-site opportunities to participate in research and meeting 8p clinicians.

Anyone who has an interest in 8p disorders can attend the conference. At past conferences we’ve had families with an 8p hero, related adults, parents, kids, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends. Also health and education professionals such as doctors, teachers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, behavioral therapists and care providers have attended our past conferences.
No. All conference shirts are final sale.
There is no hotel transportation available, but the opportunity to rent a car, call a taxi or call for an Uber/Lyft are other options.
Yes. BUT.. we highly encourage you to book within the block. It’s a great rate and if you book outside the block rate with any other business, we cannot guarantee any insurance coverage or refund. It will not be under the conference contract. Booking under block rate will help us secure the minimum numbers of rooms blocked to keep cost down for all.
Unfortunately, due to the interactive nature of our agenda, we will not be providing a virtual ticket option this year. We will record and share sessions as applicable.
Childcare services will not be provided. However, there will be a designated children's room accessible to 8p Heros, siblings, and other children attending the conference. Children who attend the children's room must be accompanied by an adult.
